Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Fantasy Vision (www.fantasyvision.xyz) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Fantasy Vision website, related services, and the Fantasy Vision ESPN Connect browser extension.

By using Fantasy Vision or the extension, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service or extension.

1. Who we are

Fantasy Vision is a fantasy football portfolio product. It helps you connect leagues from providers such as Sleeper and ESPN and view cross-league exposure, matchups, and related insights on a dashboard.

The optional Fantasy Vision ESPN Connect Chrome/Edge extension has a single purpose: after you log into ESPN in the normal way, it securely transfers the ESPN session cookies needed for league discovery to your Fantasy Vision account.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

When you create or use a Fantasy Vision account, we may process:

  • Email address and username
  • Authentication data for sign-in (including third-party login providers if you use them)
  • Account identifiers needed to keep your session secure

2.2 Fantasy league data you connect

When you connect fantasy providers and select leagues, we may process:

  • Provider account identifiers (for example Sleeper user id or ESPN member id)
  • League names, seasons, team names, roster and matchup data needed for your portfolio dashboard
  • Other league metadata returned by the provider APIs for leagues you choose to include

2.3 ESPN session credentials (extension and site connect flow)

ESPN private league access requires ESPN session cookies. Fantasy Vision does not collect your ESPN password.

When you explicitly start Connect (via the extension or site bridge):

  • The extension reads only the ESPN cookies named SWID and espn_s2 from ESPN domains after you have logged into ESPN yourself.
  • Those values are sent over HTTPS to Fantasy Vision together with a short-lived connect token tied to your signed-in Fantasy Vision session.
  • Fantasy Vision stores those session values encrypted and uses them only to authenticate ESPN Fantasy API access for league discovery and ongoing league/sync features you enable.
  • The extension does not store ESPN cookies in browser extension storage. It may store only a non-sensitive preference: the Fantasy Vision site origin you last used (for example https://www.fantasyvision.xyz).

2.4 Payments

If you purchase a season pass, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive payment status and related identifiers (such as customer or subscription ids) needed to grant access. We do not store full payment card numbers on Fantasy Vision servers.

2.5 Technical and operational data

We may process limited technical data to operate the service, such as:

  • Server logs (IP address, timestamps, request paths) for security and reliability
  • Browser session cookies required to keep you signed in to Fantasy Vision
  • Live-sync tokens used while your dashboard is open so scores can update in near real time

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Create and secure your account
  • Connect and refresh the fantasy leagues you select
  • Power the portfolio dashboard, matchup views, and related product features
  • Process season-pass purchases and access entitlements
  • Maintain, debug, and protect the service against abuse
  • Communicate about account or service issues when needed

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use ESPN session cookies for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run Fantasy Vision:

  • Fantasy providers (Sleeper, ESPN): we call their APIs using credentials or public identifiers you connected so we can load leagues and scores you asked for.
  • Stripe: for season-pass checkout and subscription management.
  • Infrastructure providers: hosting, database, cache, and edge services that process data under our instructions to deliver the product (for example cloud hosting and live-sync workers).
  • Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

ESPN cookie values are transmitted only to Fantasy Vision backends over HTTPS for the connect and league-access purpose described above. They are not shared with advertisers.

5. Browser extension details

The Fantasy Vision ESPN Connect extension requests these permissions:

  • cookies — read only ESPN SWID and espn_s2 after normal ESPN login.
  • storage — remember the Fantasy Vision backend origin preference only.
  • tabs — when you open the extension popup, detect whether the active tab is Fantasy Vision or ESPN so the UI can pre-fill context. The extension does not track your browsing history.
  • Host access — ESPN domains (to read the two session cookies) and Fantasy Vision domains (to complete the secure connect flow and page bridge).

The extension does not execute remote code. All extension JavaScript is included in the package you install from the browser store.

6. Retention

We keep account, league, and encrypted provider credentials for as long as your account remains active and the connections are needed to provide the service. You can remove connected leagues or disconnect provider access from the product where those controls are available.

Technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security and operations. Payment records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the data we handle, including HTTPS in transit and encrypted storage of ESPN session credentials at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please protect your Fantasy Vision and ESPN account logins.

8. Your choices

  • You can disconnect leagues from Fantasy Vision.
  • You can stop using or uninstall the ESPN Connect extension at any time.
  • You can log out of ESPN and Fantasy Vision to end active browser sessions.
  • You can request account-related privacy questions using the contact methods below.

9. Children’s privacy

Fantasy Vision is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service or extension after an update means you accept the revised policy.
